Val Uyeda earned her master gardener certification in 2020 in Contra Costa County.

She transferred to LA County in 2021.

Her gardening interests include vegetable gardening and helping others to grow successfully.

She grew up in Los Angeles and spent her career as an environmental, health and safety professional in the energy business. She now works as a wine ambassador sharing her enjoyment of wine

Her other interests include paddleboarding, snow skiing, and pairing food and wine
